1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services offered by YSA Beauty Studio (“Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including all beauty treatments, permanent makeup procedures, skincare services, and related consultations offered at our location at 1416 NW Ballard Way, 3rd Floor, Studio 27, Seattle, Washington 98107, or through our website at ysabeautystudio.com.
By booking an appointment, using our website, or receiving any service from YSA Beauty Studio, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book or use our services.
2. Services Offered
YSA Beauty Studio provides professional beauty services including, but not limited to: permanent makeup procedures (microblading, ombre brows, lip blushing, eyeliner), semi-permanent makeup treatments, skincare and facial treatments, lash and brow services, and related consultations and aftercare guidance.
Service availability may change at any time. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or add services without prior notice. Descriptions of individual services are available on our website and upon request.
3. Appointments and Booking
3.1 Booking Appointments may be booked through our website, by phone, or via authorized third-party booking platforms. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from YSA Beauty Studio, along with any required deposit.
3.2 Deposits A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for select services, particularly permanent makeup procedures. The deposit amount is stated at the time of booking and is applied toward the total service cost. Deposits are forfeited if you cancel without adequate notice (see Section 4).
3.3 Late Arrivals Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment, and full fees may still apply. Arriving more than 30 minutes late will be treated as a no-show.
4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
4.1 Cancellations We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of any deposit paid. For services with no deposit, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price may be charged.
4.2 No-Shows Clients who do not arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will forfeit any deposit paid and may be required to pay a no-show fee before rebooking. YSA Beauty Studio reserves the right to decline future bookings from clients with repeated no-show history.
4.3 Studio Cancellations YSA Beauty Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to artist illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund of any deposit or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for that appointment.
5.2 Payment Methods We accept major credit and debit cards, cash, and other payment methods listed on our website. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Gratuity is not included in service prices.
5.3 Refund Policy All sales for services rendered are final. We do not offer refunds for completed services. If you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment — we may, at our sole discretion, offer a complimentary touch-up or adjustment where appropriate. Retail products may be returned within 14 days if unused, sealed, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
6. Health, Safety, and Eligibility
6.1 Health Disclosure You are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions, skin conditions, allergies, and medications prior to receiving services. Failure to do so may result in adverse effects for which YSA Beauty Studio cannot be held responsible.
6.2 Contraindications Certain services may not be suitable for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding; have active skin infections, rashes, or open wounds in the treatment area; have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring; are on blood-thinning medications; have autoimmune skin conditions; are undergoing active chemotherapy or radiation; have allergies to topical anesthetics or pigments; or have used Accutane or retinoids within the past 12 months. This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to decline service to any client for whom we identify a contraindication.
6.3 Patch Testing A patch test may be recommended or required prior to certain treatments. It is the client’s responsibility to schedule this in advance. YSA Beauty Studio is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from a client’s failure to complete a recommended patch test.
6.4 Age Requirements Clients must be at least 18 years of age to receive permanent makeup procedures. Clients aged 16–17 may receive certain other services with written parental or legal guardian consent. We reserve the right to request valid ID to verify age.
7. Permanent Makeup — Special Provisions
7.1 Nature of Permanent Makeup Permanent makeup involves the implantation of pigment into the upper layers of the skin. Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare compliance, and other individual factors. YSA Beauty Studio makes no guarantee of specific results, color retention, or longevity.
7.2 Touch-Up Appointments A follow-up touch-up is typically recommended 6–10 weeks after the initial procedure. Touch-up appointments are not included in the initial service price unless explicitly stated. YSA Beauty Studio is not responsible for unsatisfactory outcomes resulting from missed follow-up sessions.
7.3 Healing and Aftercare Proper aftercare is essential. Written aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment. Failure to follow these instructions may result in poor pigment retention, infection, or other complications for which YSA Beauty Studio assumes no liability.
7.4 Color and Result Variation Pigment will appear darker immediately after the procedure and will soften during healing. Final results are influenced by skin undertone, texture, oiliness, sun exposure, and lifestyle. Additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results, at additional cost.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YSA Beauty Studio and its artists, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to that claim.
We are not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from undisclosed health conditions, failure to follow aftercare instructions, individual healing variations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Photography and Consent
With your consent, YSA Beauty Studio may take before-and-after photographs for documentation, training, or promotional use, including on our website and social media. You may decline or revoke consent to photography at any time by notifying us in writing. By consenting, you grant YSA Beauty Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such images for the stated purposes. Identifying personal information will not be disclosed without your separate, explicit consent.
10. Privacy and Personal Information
YSA Beauty Studio collects and processes personal and health information solely to deliver safe, effective services and fulfill our legal obligations. Your information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties except as required by law or necessary to provide services. 11. Website Use
Your use of ysabeautystudio.com is subject to these Terms. Our website is provided for informational and booking purposes only. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or availability of website content and reserve the right to modify or remove content at any time. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only — we do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content.
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
We encourage you to contact us directly with any concerns before pursuing other remedies. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in King County, Washington.
13. Changes to These Terms
YSA Beauty Studio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and all remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with any booking confirmations, consent forms, and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and YSA Beauty Studio.
